I wanted to share some thoughts about the marvellous week that I spent in Reading, United Kingdom from 13 to 20 August 2023.
I was so blessed to receive a full bursary which made me feel very grateful and while I was in Reading I just repeated with loud voice ”I am so happy and excited to be here. I am feeling so blessed!”
Baroque Week surprised me by its gorgeous French music – we spent a lot of the time practicing Charpentier`s music, which is very beautiful – by its magnificent tutors, by its talented bursaries and by its kind participants. Did I mentioned something about the food? Delicious! And the Campus…Queen Anne`s School…beautiful and impressive!
The program of the week was pretty full. We had 1h and a half sessions from morning to the night, every day. Of course, with some relaxing tea breaks between. Every night was marked by a simple recital, which created a familiar and warm atmosphere.
I enjoyed so much every experience from that week! I also learned about my weak spots and now, being back in my country, in the beautiful city Brasov, I know what I must do to improve myself.
It`s been a beautiful and fulfilling week!
